With the Starter kit Stamp9G45 we offer a new evaluation board for the development of embedded systems and mobile devices. The kit includes all the hardware and software functions necessary to immediately begin operating the Stamp9G45 CPU module.

Content of the starter kit: Stamp9G45 (dimensions 53.6 x 38 x 6 mm), evaluation board in the form of a Eurocard, 2 GB MicroSD card (with pre-installed rootfilesystem), battery, IF232/9-DIR module and a software CD with Linux and the compiled tool chain and all required cables and the power supply. A robust aluminum housing is optionally available.

With the launch of our new gpio.net system we are extending our range in the area of data acquisition technology and process control. The concept includes various I/O cards, which function via Modbus protocol. In addition to analog cards (gpio.AI/AO) there are opto-decoupled digital cards (gpio.DIO) like the relay card. They can all be used as USB, RS232 or bus mode via RS485.

Their uniform design, both in terms of their software library and casing, make the gpio system versatile. A gateway for TCP/IP networks is being planned with the gpio.ipcore. This would make it possible, for example, to administer existing systems via a web interface using gpio.net. Cards produced by other manufacturers can easily be integrated thanks to the Modbus compatibility.

The included C-library simplifies the development of your own control applications. It is not at all dependent on a specific platform and can be easily ported. Sample implementations for Windows and Linux are part of the library.

As an alternative to Linux, we are offering a streamlined test version of Windows Embedded CE 6.0 for the ARM9 CPU module, Stamp9G20.

Applications can be written with the help of Visual Studio 2005 or 2008 in C#, for example. The development environment facilitates troubleshooting and debugging. The package includes Microsoft .NET Compact Framework, which provides a variety of forms and functions that make program development substantially simpler.

Taskit is now producting the PortuxG20 ARM9 single-board computer (SBC) and the handy PortuxG20 Mini PC with more memory. The devices will now be offered with a higher memory capacity of  512 MB NAND Flash and 128 MB SDRAM. This offers users substantially more resources for their own applications.

Stamp9G45 is yet another CPU module being added to taskit's Stamp range of products. The energy-efficient embedded board (utilizes under 100 mW) has a circuit board measuring only 53.6 x 38 x 6 mm. The development of the ARM9 Board was based on the 32-bit ARM controller AT91SAM9G45 by Atmel.

The Stamp comes equipped with 128 MB DDRAM, 128 MB NAND Flash, an integrated microSD card slot and a 400 MHz frequency.

There are 200 processor pins leading out of two 100-pin industrial Hirose FX-8 connectors. Some of the supported interfaces and peripheral devices include an LCD/TFT controller, Ethernet, USB 2.0 host and USB On-The-Go (OTG), USART, SPI, TWI (I²C compatible), JTAG, up to 100 digital I/O ports and a 16-bit parallel bus.

The Stamp9G45 comes pre-installed with the Linux operating system. This product is expected to be available from September 2011.
