The starter kit enables you to put the 386EX-Card to immediate use, without the need for additional hardware or software.

A space-saving housing protects the cheque-card PC and makes it easy to handle. You can connect external peripherals to the starter kit's standard connectors without opening the housing.
Simply attach the 386EX-Card III starter kit to the serial interface of a PC and start the terminal program. After a reset, the 386EX-Card boots from the Flash disk and a DOS prompt appears. You can then copy data and programs cfrom the PC onto the 386EX's RAM or Flash disk quickly and easily.
The starter kit contains
- 386EX-Card III without ethernet, 4 MB Flash, 1 MB SRAM (optional with Ethernet)
- Operating system: FreeDOS, compatible to MS-DOS 7.1
- VTERM terminal program for the PC
- Serial cable
