All-around compuer for embedded systems
The Portux920T Mini-PC is an energy-saving and networkable embedded PC for control, maintenance and monitoring tasks. Its versatile connection possibilites make it ideal for a wide variety of different applications, i.e., as a data logger or interface computer.
Mini-PC USB or Modem

To account for custom needs, taskit offers the Mini-PC in a USB or modem version. Ethernet and 2 serial interfaces are integrated into both versions. These are contained on the Portux920T base board, which builds the core of the computer. Portux920T Mini-PC USB uses a PXB-expansion card to extend the interface offerings to include both USB host and device. For the modem version, you can choose between analog or ISDN modems, which are integrated into the extension card and can be swapped out if need be. The interfaces made available by the Portux920T Mini-PC Modem include an analog and ISDN interface as well as a USB host connection.
Robust aluminum housing
The hardware is integrated into in a robust aluminum housing suitable for deployment in demanding environments. The handy design enables easy transport of the Mini-PC. It can be installed in hard-to-reach places, from which the data can be recorded over an extended time period.
Starter kit gets you going fast

To help you put the Mini-PC to use right away, taskit offers the Portux920T Mini-PC Starter Kit. It contains the Mini-PC in aluminum housing, all necessary cables, and the power supply. The included software CD contains Linux, U-Boot, GNU-Tools and a 60-day demo version of the tide development environment. tide enables cross-platform development under Windows and Linux. As an alternative to Linux, you can opt for installation of the FreeBSD operating system.
