The starter kit contains

- Matrix keyboard (3 x 4 keys) and rotary knob with push-button switch for input
- Power supply and connection cables (1 crossed and 1 straight cable, as well as a null modem cable)
- Software CD (Linux 2.6.x, U-Boot, compiled tool chain, Nano-X Window, GNU-Tools and digital handbook). There is also a test version of Windows Embedded CE.

The Stamp9261 Starter Kit contains all hardware and software necessary for putting Stamp9261 to immediate use. Stamp9261 is connected to the StampAdapter with two 100-pin Hirose FX8 connectors. The StampAdapter was developed based on the Panel-Card and is compatible to the Evaluationboard. The StampAdaptor is networkable, as it has an integated Ethernet controller. Each side of the board has 100 matched pins so that additional devices (such as a TFT) can be connected.
Two 40-pin rows connect Stamp9261 to the Evaluationboard. With 2 USB host, 1 USB device, 1 JTAG interface, 1 RS232 with DSUB-9 connector in addition to 1 freely assignable DSUB-25 connector, you have a wide variety of connection possibilities. An integrated SD/MMC card slot enables you to freely expand memory capacity to meet your individual needs. A 10/100 MBit/s Ethernet connection ensures network connectivity. The starter kit comes with a software CD including the Linux operating system, the compiled tool chain and Nano-X Window. All necessary cables and the power supply are also included.
