Product information "BLE232_central with 9 pin DSUB female"

The BLE232 is an interface adapter that converts RS232 communication to Bluetooth 4.0. It is designed to transmit status messages.

It can be used to connect to any other Bluetooth device, such as a smartphone or Bluetooth sensor, that supports Bluetooth 4.0 or two devices can bridge two RS232 ports wirelessly. The BLE232 can be used with Windows or Linux operating systems or directly with microcontrollers. The BLE232 has a programming and configuration interface. Configuration can be done directly through the serial port. If necessary and desired, the microcontroller of the module can be programmed directly by the user.

This BLE232 central with one socket provides Bluetooth Smart on serial ports and is preset to a central role via the RS232 socket.
